The Spouse KITAS (E31A) is a residence visa designed for foreigners who are married to Indonesian citizens and wish to live in Indonesia, whether male or female. The marriage must be legally registered in Indonesia. This visa allows the holder to stay for one year, with the possibility of renewal. After renewing the KITAS four times, it can be converted into a permanent residence permit (KITAP).
If you’re a Spouse KITAS holder, you are eligible to work in Indonesia. However, you must first apply for a Work Permit to be employed legally. Approved applications grant an initial stay of up to 30 days, extendable for an additional 30 days. Before applying, ensure your country is listed as eligible for Visa on Arrival.
Designed for foreigners married to Indonesian citizens. Allows residence in Indonesia, multiple entries during validity, tourism activities, family visits, and can be converted to KITAP after the required renewals.
