Family KITAS (E31)
The Family KITAS is a residence permit issued specifically to family members (such as a mother, father, or child) of a KITAS holder. A Family KITAS allows the family member to live in Indonesia with the primary KITAS holder. This permit gives you a one-year stay, which can be extended for up to five years. After renewing the KITAS four times, the holder becomes eligible to apply for a permanent residence permit (KITAP) for a longer stay in Indonesia easily. The E31 index specifically applies to family members of individuals who hold a KITAS for work, residence, or other purposes. It is an ideal option for those who wish to reunite with their family members in Indonesia.
For the spouse of a foreign national holding any type of KITAS. Valid for the same duration as the primary KITAS holder.
