Family KITAP
This visa is issued to any foreigner married to an Indonesian citizen or to children born from mixed marriages between a foreigner and an Indonesian. It is also available for dependents, such as spouses or children. The Family KITAP is valid for five years and can be extended for a lifetime.
Benefits of the Family KITAP
Once granted, this visa allows you to:
- Reside in Indonesia for five years, with the possibility of lifetime extensions.
- Work in Indonesia, provided you obtain a valid work permit.
- Participate in various social, cultural, and educational activities within the country.
Note:
You cannot work in Indonesia without obtaining all the required permits, and you must apply for a job personally.
Required Documents
To apply for a Family KITAP, you must provide the following documents:
- Completed Bali Visa application form.
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of three years.
- KITAS validity of at least three months at the time of application.
- Bank statement showing a minimum balance of USD 1,500.
- Indonesian ID card (KTP) of the Indonesian spouse.
- Family card (Kartu Keluarga) of the Indonesian spouse.
- Birth certificate of the Indonesian spouse.
- Marriage certificate, officially registered in Indonesia.
- Temporary stay permit card (KITAS) proving that the marriage has lasted for at least two years.
- Temporary residential registration card (SKTT) to complete the visa application.
