The Silver Hair Visa (E33E) is a newly introduced visa by Indonesian Immigration designed for retirees who wish to spend their retirement years in Indonesia. To qualify for this visa, you must be at least 56 years old and meet financial requirements, including depositing funds in a state-owned bank account.
This visa allows you to stay in Indonesia for up to 5 years, with the flexibility to enter and leave the country as much as needed during the validity period. It is an excellent option for retirees looking for a long-term stay in Indonesia’s warm climate and vibrant culture.
Foreigners can use this VISA for:
- Living in Indonesia.
- Traveling to and from Indonesia multiple times during the visa validity period.
- Enjoying the benefits of retirement, including a peaceful lifestyle.
Upon issuing the visa, you must report the deposit made in a state-owned bank to the immigration office within 90 days of entering Indonesia. To meet the requirements, you must deposit at least USD 50,000 in the state-owned bank account and provide proof of financial capability to support yourself during your stay. If you cannot meet these requirements, the Retirement KITAS may be a better alternative for those aged 60 and above.
Approved applications grant an initial stay of up to 30 days, extendable for an additional 30 days. Before applying, ensure your country is listed as eligible for Visa on Arrival.
Documents Required From Applicant
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months of validity).
- Proof of living expenses for yourself and/or your family of at least USD 2,000 per month.
- Recent color photograph.
- A statement of commitment to deposit USD 50,000 in a state-owned bank account.
- Proof of income or benefits with a minimum of USD 3,000 per month.
