The Investor Residence Permit KITAS in Indonesia is a permit designed to suit foreigners who want to invest inside Indonesia.
This visa helps all investors reside in Indonesia as long as their businesses are ongoing and compliant with regulations and laws in Indonesia. This permit is available for one year or two years as desired, and the KITAS permit also allows upgrading the investors and extending the residence duration up to 5 years.
What can you do with the Investor Residence Permit KITAS?
The Investor Residence Permit KITAS is designated for many individuals who want to invest and trade, allowing them to:
- Establish any business and manage it inside Indonesia.
- Participate as a board member or proxy in an investment company.
- Bring some eligible family members to Live in Indonesia.
- Move inside and outside the Indonesian borders during the permit period.
- Engage in various personal or tourism-related activities.
Important Note:
Although the Investor Residence Permit KITAS allows business management, it is necessary to have a separate work permit for the job position.
Approved applications grant an initial stay of up to 30 days, extendable for an additional 30 days. Before applying, ensure your country is listed as eligible for Visa on Arrival.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicant Documents
- Passport: Valid for at least six months.
- Bank Statement: Showing a minimum balance of USD 2,000 over the past three months.
- Photo: Recent, passport-style photo with a red background.
Sponsor (Company) Documents
- Director/Commissioner Passport: Color scan.
- Director/Commissioner KITAS: Color scan.
- Local Staff ID (KTP): Color scan.
- Tax Identification Number (NPWP).
- Business Registration Number (NIB): From the OSS system.
- Business License: OSS-generated license.
- Notary Acts: Original and updated documents, including legalization by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
- Company Stamp, Letterhead, and Profile.
