Your Key to Investing and Staying in Indonesia
The Investor KITAS is a temporary residence permit specifically designed for foreign nationals looking to invest in Indonesia. This visa streamlines the process for investors to stay and actively manage their businesses while adhering to Indonesian regulations.
Available for 1-year or 2-year durations, the Investor KITAS also offers the possibility of upgrading to a KITAP (Permanent Residence Permit) for a more extended stay of 5 years.
What Can You Do with an Investor KITAS?
The Investor KITAS is tailored for individuals who want to:
- Establish or manage a business in Indonesia.
- Participate as a board director or commissioner in their investment company.
- Bring eligible family members to Indonesia.
- Travel freely in and out of Indonesia during its validity.
- Engage in personal or tourism-related activities.
Important: While the Investor KITAS allows business management, a separate work permit is required for operational job roles.
Approved applications grant an initial stay of up to 30 days, extendable for an additional 30 days. Before applying, ensure your country is listed as eligible for Visa on Arrival.
