The Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) is an Indonesian government initiative that allows foreigners to visit Indonesia for tourism, family visits, or business purposes. This visa is valid for an initial 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days.

The introduction of the e-VOA aims to simplify the visa application process, facilitating seamless entry for international tourists and business professionals visiting Indonesia.

Who Can Use the e-VOA?

  1. Foreign nationals can apply for an e-VOA for the following purposes:

    • Tourism activities or visiting friends and family.
    • Attending meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE).
    • Sailing within Indonesian waters on a yacht.

    Approved applications grant an initial stay of up to 30 days, extendable for an additional 30 days. Before applying, ensure your country is listed as eligible for Visa on Arrival.

Required Documents

  1. To apply for an e-VOA, prepare the following:

    1. Passport Scan: Must have at least 6 months of validity.
    2. Formal Photograph: Passport-style photo with a plain white background.
    3. Accommodation Details: The address of your stay in Indonesia (this will be included in the visa).
    4. Mother’s Maiden Name.
    5. Return Flight Ticket.

    Additional Documents for Travelers with Children:

    • Birth certificate (for children under 18 years).
    • Marriage certificate (if applicable).

Application Process

  1. Gather the required documents: passport scan, return flight ticket, and formal photograph.
  2. Send the documents to the official contact address for Visa Station Bali.
  3. Receive assistance from a dedicated consultant throughout the application process.
  4. Once your e-VOA is issued, your consultant will provide the visa, and you’re ready to travel!
